Scanner.
Verify that all SCSI connections
are correct (if necessary turn off
all equipment to alter the
connections). Try other cables if
available. If the problem persists,
contact Kodak.

CALIBRATION IN
PROGRESS
DO NOT INSERT
holders into Scanner.
WAIT for calibration to
complete!”
This message appears
normally during
calibration.
Wait for calibration to finish
before inserting a Holder into the
Scanner.
“PLEASE WAIT . . .
FOCUSING IN
PROGRESS”
Scanner is focusing. As prompted, wait for focusing to
occur.
“Preferences file could not
be saved.”
The system disk is full,
or is write protected (for
example on a SyQuest
disk), or there is a
problem with the system
disk.
Create room on the system disk,
remove write protection from the
system disk, or have the system
disk repaired.
“Problem with
Magnification hardware.”
A hardware problem was
detected.
Shut down the computer and the
Scanner. Restart and try again. If
the problem persists, reinstall the
Scanner software as described in
Chapter 3 (Macintosh) or Chapter
7 (PC), and try again. If the
problem continues contact
Kodak.
