Camera ready light status
No album names on camera
(Connect with computer to
import album names)
Album names have not
been copied to the
camera from the
computer.
Create and copy album names
from computer. See EasyShare
software Help.
High camera temperature
(Camera will be turned off)
The internal
temperature is too
high for the camera to
operate. Viewfinder
light glows red and the
camera turns off.
Leave the camera off until it’s
cool to the touch, then turn it
back on.
If the message reappears,
contact Customer Support
(page 48).
No images in Favorites.
Press “review” for current
images.
There are no Favorites
in the camera’s
internal memory.
See Tagging pictures as
favorites, page 36.
Camera error #
See user’s guide
An error is detected. Turn the camera off, then back
on. If error reappears, write
down the number and contact
Customer Support (page 48).
Status Cause Solution
Ready light does not turn
on and the camera does
not work.
Camera is not turned on. Turn on the camera
(page 4).
Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery or install a
new one (page 2).
Mode dial was on when
batteries were reloaded.
Turn Mode dial off, then back
on.
Ready light blinks green. Picture is being
processed and saved to
the camera.
Camera is operating normally.
Ready light blinks red and
camera turns off.
Battery is low or
exhausted.
Recharge the battery or install a
new one (page 2).
Ready light glows steady
green
Shutter button is pressed
halfway down. Focus and
exposure are set.
Camera is operating normally.
Ready light glows steady
orange
The Mode dial is set to
Favorites.
Camera is operating normally.
