The DC210+ camera comes with four Kodak Photolife AA batteries. Standard 1.5-volt (V)
alkaline, 1.5-V lithium, or rechargeable 1.2-V nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd) or nickel metal hydride
(Ni-MH) batteries may be used.
To install the batteries, perform the following steps:
1. Place your thumb on the battery door.
2. Slide the battery door away from the camera.
3. Insert the batteries as indicated on the battery door and close the door.
Remove the batteries if the camera will not be used for an extended period of time. Doing
so extends battery life and prevents camera damage from battery leaks or corrosion. If the
batteries are removed from the camera for more than a few minutes, the camera’s date
and time features are deleted and must be reset. For information on setting the date and
time, refer to “Date and Time” in Chapter 5.
